As a young competitive athlete, health and fitness have always been integrated in the life of Alana Foeller. In 2005 Alana became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Physiology: Human Performance and Sport with a minor in Nutrition, Alana has been a practicing Personal Trainer and Nutritional Consultant for the past 8 years. She began practicing Yoga in 2001, and came to love this practice of breath and mindful movement, and in 2009 became a Certified Yoga Instructor. Since then Alana has pursued the path of Yoga and is now a Registered Yoga Therapist and Ayurvedic Healthcare Practitioner. Alana is currently back in school working towards her BSN degree and ultimately intends to become a Nurse Practitioner. Fitness, Nutrition, and Holistic Medicine are the pillars of her future in health care promotion, education, disease prevention and treatment. As an Instructor it is Alana's goal to encourage students to push beyond their comfort zone in order to become empowered, grow stronger, and overall become a healthier and happier person. Alana has a strong background in alignment and movement, and endeavors to create an environment in which students learn to maintain proper alignment and safely execute exercises. Alana's classes are fun, challenging, and provide an opportunity to dig down deep and find out what you are really made of!


Andy Marsh is a Denver native and has lived in the Highlands neighborhood since 2004. Andy describes his evolution to the world of fitness as follows: "One month before my son was born I looked in the mirror and realized I was not going to be the father I wanted to be for my son . I weighed 210 pounds and was not living a healthy life style. The next day I joined a gym and began my fitness journey. In 18 months I lost over 55 pounds and had rediscovered the athlete I was as a child and teenager. During my journey I found that I had the ability to inspire others with my personal success and my passion for fitness. After becoming a certified Spin instructor I fell in love with being a group exercise instructor and began training for OrangeTheory Fitness. I bring a unique understanding of my clients because I know how challenging it is to make dramatic changes in your lifestyle." When not being a father, an OTF fitness coach, or a manager at a local business Andy enjoys playing baseball, hiking 14ers, yoga, boxing, volunteering in the community, and playing the guitar.


Eric Stevens is the Head Trainer for Orangetheory Fitness in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver. Eric is a nationally certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). As a master-level certified Personal Trainer for the past 12 years, Eric Stevens has established himself as a leading fitness professional, writer, and television personality. Eric has a wealth of fitness experience, having trained in the private health club industry and the non-profit industry. In addition to fitness, Eric has been a long time instructor for Western Boxing and Muay Thai, and has trained in Boxing and the Martial Arts with top coaches for years, including professional coach and fighter John Heath. As a leader in the fitness industry, Eric was recently selected to serve as a personal trainer in the nationally televised series, "I Used to Be Fat," which aired in 2011 on MTV. J.R. Lofton began his fitness journey in 1999 after completing his professional football career. Shortly after becoming a Personal Trainer he immersed himself in the world of athletic performance. J.R.'s emphasis included helping aspiring athletes succeed in their respective sports, working with WNBA, European Football (UEFA), World Cup Skiing, Arena Football, and numerous college and high school athletes. J.R. has worked in several of the most recognized fitness clubs in Downtown Denver throughout his career, and has performed nearly every aspect of club operations-from Personal Training to General Management. J.R. believes that you get what you put into a workout, and that Orange Theory Fitness provides the tools and team to help you achieve your fitness and performance goals. He is very excited to bring his years of experience to the Orange Theory team. J.R. is married to his wonderful wife, Laura. They have a son, Jaxon....who is wild!!!


Matt was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana and played baseball, basketball, and soccer throughout his youth, including pitching and winning the Indiana State Championship game in 2002. Matt graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Movement and Sport Sciences and a minor in Psychology. Matt has worked as a personal trainer and general manager since 2009. Matt is an avid tri-athlete, qualifying for his age group national championships in 2012, and is training for Ironman Wisconsin with the goal to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Matt’s favorite quote: “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”


Megan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana. Megan has been in the fitness industry since 2006, including extensive work in personal training and designing wellness programs. She loves teaching group exercise because of the opportunities to build relationships. Fpr Megan, motivation doesn’t come from screaming and yelling, but rather it develops from “encouragement, positive reinforcement, and persistence.” Megan moved to Colorado from Montana in 2010 and has loved every minute of it. She spends her free time running in the Colorado sunshine and doing any activity in the outdoors with family and friends. When she’s not outdoors, Megan can enjoy a good book or competitive game of Taboo. Megan’s goal as your trainer is to help you achieve what you deem impossible, and her motto: “It’s not going to be easy, but it’s going to be worth it!”


Scott developed his skills as an elite fitness instructor for over 10 years in New York City, including being voted one of the TOP 10 Bootcamp Instructors in NYC. After studying Exercise Science at the State University of NY, Scott successfully competed in bodybuilding competitions and obtained NASM, SPIN, CrossFit, ViPR, AIS, TRX, RKC, and Shockwave Rowing Certifications. Attesting to Scott’s innovative instructing style, Scott created his signature Jump N Pump, TRX Max, and HardCORE abdominal classes. Scott’s workouts are strong, motivating, and intense, while expertly supervised for all fitness levels. According to Scott, “your workouts begin outside of your comfort zone.”


Stephanie Stoa is a highly credentialed fitness expert and has over 20 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She graduated with a B.S. in Business and a minor in marketing, moving from Kansas to Arizona in 1992. She is a nationally certified strength & conditioning specialist through (NASM) the National Academy of Sports Medicine, (ISSA) International Sports Sciences Association, and (ACE) American Council on Exercise group instructor, as well as being certified as a Post Rehab Medical Exercise Specialist. She is also a certified SPX Fitness Instructor and has completed the Sports Nutrition certification program through Precision Nutrition. She specializes in sports conditioning and performance nutrition, studying under the leading professionals on thyroid, metabolism and body composition. Stephanie has also been active in competitive Fitness, Figure and Tri-Fitness. In 2000, she won Ms. Fitness Arizona and went on to place 1st or 2nd in seven additional competitions over the next two years. Stephanie owned and operated a small personal training studio known as Power Performance that has been in operation since 1999 before relocating to Colorado in July, 2012. The studio’s main focus was on helping clients achieve their optimal bodies and fitness goals by maximizing strength, balance, flexibility and core focus with high intensity interval training, while also emphasizing the importance of proper diet and nutrition. Her motto is “Power for Health, Performance for Life”. Her philosophy is to educate clients on nutrition and fitness through a well balanced lifestyle. She believes in challenging her students & clients to push themselves to do their best, challenging their expectations & limits. She believes in transforming the body from the inside out and is passionate about helping people rebuild their lives in a healthy way that carries over into every aspect of their daily lives. Her goal is to empower people and ignite a change in their perspective on life, health & wellness.
